Privacy Policy

Maths Tutor is a children’s mathematics tutoring app published by Videorogues. We designed it to be private by default. The app does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
What we collect
Nothing leaves your device. Maths Tutor has no user accounts, no login, no email collection, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.
What is stored, and where
All information the app uses — a child’s name (or nickname), school year, answer history, streaks, stickers, settings, and any notes a parent adds — is stored only on your own device, in the app’s local storage. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it. You can also clear it any time from the parent dashboard (“Reset progress”) or the File menu on desktop.
Microphone (optional, off by default)
A parent may switch on a microphone feature so a child can say commands like “I need a hint” or “next”. This is opt-in per child and off unless enabled. When on, speech is processed by your device’s own operating-system speech recognition to detect those commands; the app does not record, store, or transmit audio. You can turn it off at any time in the parent dashboard.
Voice (text-to-speech)
The app reads questions and encouragement aloud using your device’s built-in voices. No audio is sent anywhere.
Children’s privacy
Maths Tutor is suitable for children and is built to comply with children’s privacy regulations (including COPPA and the Apple Kids Category and Google Play Families requirements). Because the app collects no personal information and contains no ads, behavioural tracking, or external links to unsafe content, there is nothing to share with third parties.
On-device AI (desktop only)
On the Mac desktop version, an optional “Explain another way” helper can use a local AI model running on the same computer. Requests stay on your machine and are never sent to us or any external server. This feature is not present in the iPhone, iPad, or Android versions.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and the version published in the app stores.
